Arvada Future Fund

How Can You Contribute to the Future Fund?

One-Time Gift Today

You can give a one-time financial gift today directly to our Future Fund. All proceeds will go toward the maintenance and update of property owned by the Arvada Vineyard, along with future initiatives of kingdom impact.

Pledged Gift for the Future

Often our ability to give over time is higher, producing a much greater impact than the financial resources we have on hand.

You can choose to give a future one-time gift or a future recurring gift from today through the end of 2026.

Give Through Stock Donations, IRA distributions, DAFs and Cryptocurrency

If you’d like to give through stock donations, IRA distributions, donor-advised funds (DAFs), or cryptocurrency, we are able to receive those gifts through Vineyard USA’s giving platform. They provide a simple and secure process, and 100% of your gift is directed straight to our local church. You will be asked to designate your local church, and you can find Arvada Vineyard in the drop-down menu.

Giving in one of these ways can also be tax-advantageous, depending on your situation, and may allow you to be even more generous with what God has entrusted to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How will the financial gifts and pledges be allocated?

Depending upon how much is given or pledged, we will allocate gifts toward the following priorities:

  • $300K → $100K toward replenishing reserves after building purchase + Flood mitigation + renovated basement for youth & weekday use + refreshed kids’ rooms.
  • $500K → Includes the above + and continues to rebuild emergency reserves.
  • $800K → Fully replenishes reserves to 4 months operating budget, updates the community room and classrooms, and helps replace the flat roof.
  • $1–2M → All of the above + full building remodel (larger ADA-accessible bathrooms, new sound system, sanctuary updates) + margin for future staff. (If you would like more details about the kinds of updates we would like to make, feel free to reach out.)

.

What is the difference between a pledge and a one-time gift?

Great question. We want to enable givers to be generous in any and every way the Lord leads.

  • One-Time Gift: Some people have access to financial resources and can give it immediately as a one-time gift.
  • Pledge: Some people have a greater giving potential if they give over time, such as out of their a monthly budget or perhaps quarterly investment earnings. Pledges will be collected through the end of 2026.

Most givers may choose one or the other, while some might feel called and able to give both a one-time gift and a recurring pledge.

Shouldn’t we just sell the current building?

Selling our old building (5855 Wadsworth Bypass) is our long-term plan. However, we are currently renting it to another church planter and have given that the church the first option to purchase. If they forego this opportunity and we put it on the market immediately, the listing and eventual sale would likely take months.  As a result, we are continuing to hold this option as a possibility, while pursing raising money through the future fund.

If we don’t raise enough money can we still afford the building?
Yes, however our current budget is tight. As our church continues to grow, we imagine that our regular giving will increase. In order to replenish our savings and invest in renovating the building we would  have to proceed with the sale of the old building.

Nevertheless, our fundraising success will shape our future ministry capabilities. The more we raise, the more we can invest in our remodel so as to serve our church better while also reducing financial strain and enabling us to use our new space as a powerful tool for Kingdom work in our city.
Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes. Your donation is tax-deductible as a financial gift to a non-profit religious organization just like your regular giving is.

Can I donate stock?

Yes. We are able to receive stock donations and would welcome this as a means by which you can contribute to the Arvada Future Fund. If interested, please email Becca Knudsen for details: becca@milehighvineyard.org.
