Colorado Village Collaborative exists to bridge the gap between the streets and stable housing by creating and operating transformational shelter communities in partnership with people experiencing homelessness.

Help Prepare & Serve a hot dinner for 40 residents
Yu Meh Food Share: This food share program not only repurposes fresh fruits and veggies that would otherwise be wasted, it also addresses food insecurity in the Denver area. Supporting over 120 refugee families in need, volunteers unload, sort, package and distribute over a thousand pounds of food each week.
English Language Learning Program: Assist certified instructors in the classroom and work alongside refugees on reading, writing, speaking, and citizenship test preparation. Classes are run in partnership with Emily Griffith Technical College and follow a formal curriculum.
We are looking for volunteers for in-person classes and study sessions who are able to commit for at least six weeks.
One of the key ways EDV seeks to love our city is through pursuing racial justice and reconciliation. EDV supports the efforts of Pastor Vernon Jones, Jr. and his education-equity organization, Faithbridge and his church, Kinship Church, to offer Angel Café at Church In the City on Tuesdays-Thursdays.
This initiative was born out of a crisis response to the gun violence at East High School in 2023. Join Faithbridge to offer a safe space for East High School students during their lunch break by staffing lunch kiosks and offering a listening ear and prayer.
