More than two decades ago, Jay and Danielle Pathak arrived in Arvada with a group of twenty-somethings with a dream to start a church that could minister to those who were far from God. They began to build lives together, they threw parties, got jobs, started families and slowly but surely a church was born. Small groups were launched, partnerships across the city formed, lives transformed, and all the while hundreds of people were entering into life with Christ. Ever since this journey has continued, continuing to grow and multiply, but now 23 years later the church stands at a generational moment in its history.
After many great years at our building next to Olde Town, we are now under contract to buy a new building less than two miles away on Garrison St. This incredible new building is three times larger than our current home, with a beautiful sanctuary, lots more room for our kids and young people, amazing spaces to host events and lots more parking. This historic building has all the ingredients necessary to grow our church and take it into the next phase of our history, but to do that we need your help.
To make this move a reality, we are asking you to give generously towards our fundraising campaign as we step into this momentous moment in our church’s history. This new space would hugely increase our capacity to grow, to welcome in our neighbors, to support the work of justice across our city and to build something that could bless and support our Vineyard family across the country. Arvada Vineyard has been a huge blessing to so many people during the last 23 years and this is an opportunity for us all to help build a foundation for something much bigger than we have ever had before.
